I joined Hearth of Hecate because I wanted to "try everything" I was a little sceptical at first but soon learned of the powerful effects that can be brought about. For instance, I manifested a leather lounge with the exact proportions, colour and price that I wanted. The only problem is that it is too comfortable and now I'm a couch potato. But these things one has to deal with. I applaud the course for being dogma free and entirely practical. Magick exists and here you can, with effort, learn to influence reality. But it's not just rewards, I have found there is a religious aspect to Wicca that fulfils one's spiritual yearnings for connection with higher beings or a divine entity. Certainly, mystery remains but that's part of the appeal for me, the path is not set for you. You seek and discover it for yourself but be warned illusions can also exist. So, I suppose a skeptical frame of mind is a benefit in this endeavour because it returns to the real.
